Every part of this chair feels thoughtfully designed. The cushioning is firm yet soft, the backrest fits the curve of my spine, and the recline function works effortlessly. It’s been a huge upgrade for my posture and productivity. I first put a Mathias chair in my home, and three days later I bought another one and put it in my new office. I honestly look forward to sitting in this chair every day to start work.

Extremely comfortable.

The chair arrived in a large box, and the packaging provided excellent protection—neither the frame nor the fabric upholstery showed a single scratch or dent. The off-white cushioned fabric feels soft to the touch and features a subtle, fine-grained texture. It has been a long time since I purchased a product I was this satisfied with; for days after receiving it, I found myself wanting to stay seated in the chair constantly. That might sound a bit exaggerated, but it is absolutely true.

My Butt's New Best Friend

Seriously, this chair is the only thing that makes me look like I have my life together on Zoom. It's like an Eames Lounge Chair had a baby with a super supportive office chair, and that baby is now the best looking thing in my apartment. My butt and my lower back finally agree on something.

Comfortable and Sturdy Office Chair

The Mathias chair arrived with its packaging completely intact, and the actual product looks exactly like the images online. The brown walnut plywood veneer has a smooth, refined finish, while the leather on the seat and backrest is not only soft to the touch but also provides excellent support. The tufted button detailing on the backrest adds a charming touch of classic elegance. I had previously purchased the black version of the Mathias chair, but that model lacked the vintage elegance of the brown leather; consequently, I much prefer this brown version.

The armrests feature a comfortable and thoughtful design—perfect for typing and office work—while the practical headrest makes taking a quick nap both easy and relaxing. The aluminum alloy base is sturdy and stable; it glides smoothly even over carpeted floors, with absolutely no risk of tipping over.

My partner also sat in the chair and remarked that its slightly reclined design makes working for extended periods exceptionally comfortable.

Looks and feel like a $2500 Chair

I really love the chair because it is very supportive for my back issues. The design is gorgeous, the fit and finishes are extraordinary, and the functionality of the chair is simple to operate. As a former contract furniture rep of 40 years I have put together many chairs, and this was actually fairly simple. My only issue is I should have followed this company's guidelines as the height of user. I am 6'1" and should have ordered the larger chair for even more comfort. It never pays to save $200

Loving it so far!

No regrets at all! I anticipated the color would be slightly darker and I'm glad I was not wrong, it's nicely muted. The chair is beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what I hoped for.

Comfortable and Practical Green Fabric Chair for Home Office

The green fabric version arrived well-packaged, and the chair looked exactly as pictured. The fabric feels soft and breathable, quite different from leather, and the plywood frame has a smooth finish.

The seat and backrest provide steady support, and the headrest is comfortable for short rests. The aluminum base is sturdy and moves easily on my floor.

Even my cat was curious and jumped onto it — the fabric held up well. Overall, it’s comfortable, practical, and fits nicely in my home office.

Beautiful Chair

I am enjoying this wonderfully comfortable chair. It is not for someone who needs to sit up straight to do a lot of desk work, but it is what it says it is: an executive chair. Great for online meetings, in person meetings and comfort in general.I find it very supportive and relaxing. It is of excellent quality, heavy and well made.

I finally found my DREAM mid-century style rolling desk chair!

This is the Mathias Napa Leather Executive Office Chair from Eureka Ergonomic, and I think we can all agree (if you’re familiar with my interiors style) that this chair was pretty much made for me. The mid-century inspired shape and design are the perfect fit for our 1960s ranch. It looks like a desk chair, but it also looks like any of the other types of Eames-like seating that we have scattered throughout our home.

The head support, in particular, is a favorite feature of mine. I’ve never had a desk chair that supports my head and shoulders like this, and the impact that it has on my comfort level while working at my computer is enormous. I also adore the buttery soft feel of the leather. I’ve been hyper vigilant not to let our cats up on the chair so that I can keep the leather as pristine as it looked straight out of the box when it was delivered. So far, so good. It was also really easy to assemble, by the way!

I've been working from home full-time for over a year now, and my old, clunky office chair was killing my back and my aesthetic. Comfort for Long Days: I was a little skeptical about the ergonomics, since these chairs prioritize design, but the thick padding and high back are great. I'm 5'11", and the back hits me perfectly to lean my head back when I need a quick break. It's firm, supportive, andcomfortable.

Quality & Build: The base is solid and sturdy. The gas lift works smoothly, and the caster wheels roll easily on my floor. It truly feels like a premium product that's going to last.

Excellent Support

The product is excellent; I really love this chair. In fact, I bought two of them! I’ve been using one for about a week now. I stand 1.83 meters tall and weigh 94 kilograms, and this chair provides me with excellent support. I typically sit at my desk for about eight hours a day. Occasionally, I also sit at my computer to play games. For someone like me—sitting eight to ten hours a day, five days a week—only time will tell how well the seat cushion holds up in terms of durability. Unlike with my previous chair, I haven't experienced any back issues or pain while sitting in this one. Of course, comfort is highly subjective, and everyone's requirements for comfort differ; nevertheless, I would still recommend this chair to my friends and family.
